Built by someone who needed it.

ExecIQ started as a personal problem. As an interim and fractional CFO, I was rebuilding my career story from scratch every time a new opportunity came in — digging through old CVs, half-remembered projects, and scattered notes to find the right proof point for the role in front of me.

There wasn’t a tool that actually understood the shape of a senior career: the case studies that prove judgement under pressure, the specific evidence that answers a specific interview question, the difference between a role that looks good on paper and one that actually demonstrates what you can do.

So I built one — for myself first. ExecIQ is genuinely the tool I use for my own job search, which means every feature has to survive contact with a real, messy, high-stakes career search before it ships to anyone else.

What makes it different

Most career tools work from your CV downward — a static document, summarised and reformatted. ExecIQ works from your evidence upward. The Knowledge Kernel is a structured, reusable record of your actual career achievements — built once, carefully, and then drawn on for every CV tailoring pass, every interview answer, every case study you need.

Fidelity matters more than polish here. When ExecIQ builds a case study from your notes, it’s built to stay grounded in what you actually told it — not to fill gaps with a plausible-sounding guess. That’s a deliberate design choice, not a limitation: the whole value of this platform depends on it being something you can trust to represent you accurately.

How it works in practice

Once the Kernel exists, everything else draws from it. Assess Opportunity scores a role against your full profile before you spend time on it. CV Tailoring rewrites your CV section by section, grounded in your real case studies, with the reasoning shown beside every change. Cover letters and LinkedIn posts generate in your own voice, from a Style Guide that captures how you actually write — not a template.

The parts of a search that usually scatter stay connected. Every recruiter email, call, and interaction is logged against the opportunity it belongs to; connect Gmail and relevant messages — application confirmations, status changes, interview invitations — are detected and proposed for review automatically. Interview Practice turns real and role-specific questions into drafted, feedback-refined answers you keep in a library. And a built-in AI Helper sits alongside all of it, checking your drafts against your own Style Guide and source material — a second opinion before you commit, not just another generator.

Nothing acts on its own. Every document, post, and story ExecIQ produces is a draft: you review it, you edit it, you decide what goes out. Nothing publishes, saves, or overwrites without an explicit action from you.

Where it is now

ExecIQ is in private beta — a small, invite-only group of senior professionals testing the platform and shaping what it becomes. If you’ve been invited, welcome. If you haven’t and you’re interested, get in touch.

Who it’s for

Built first for senior finance leaders — CFOs, FDs, and Financial Controllers, particularly those operating in PE- and VC-backed environments. Now expanding to executive support professionals and other senior functions, with the same underlying principle: your career evidence, structured properly, used well.
